OUR STORY
A marketing grad turned web design pro
As the daughter of immigrants, I know the meaning of hard work: It got me through four years of college, two years in LA’s digital marketing scene, and starting up a successful business during a global pandemic—all from a bedroom just big enough to roll out my yoga mat.
After graduating from Cal State Long Beach with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Marketing, I was destined for LA: Palm trees and hustle culture. I knew I didn’t want to hustle 24/7, so I schooled myself in web design and coding with nine courses/mentorships to become my own boss.
In 2020, I founded Yangu Web Studio: A Squarespace web design studio intent on building sites as original as they are functional, marrying personality with strategy. Little did I know, Squarespace was following my every pixel and invited me to become a Squarespace Marketplace Expert in 2021.
Today, my nimble team designs brands and builds websites exclusively in Squarespace for businesses who value creativity and simplicity, playful identity and meaningful interactivity. I’ve launched 100+ sites and have 50+ five-star reviews—because I’m, like, really good at my job.
